The Inaugural RiverSong Music Festival brings classical and art music traditions to stunning Galena, Illinois at the famous Grace Episcopal Church. The sweet and tender sounds of the various free musical offerings are provided by both accomplished and up-and-coming artists. Our educational lecture recitals, with featured artists, are sure to describe tricky musical concepts and theories associated with art music.
Renowned pianist Andreas Ioannides, and RiverSong artistic director and pianist, John Urban will perform selections from Liszt and Prokofiev. Attendees are invited to stay for a meet-the-artist reception following the concert.
World renowned pianist Winston Choi will perform a selection of solo piano works including works by Ravel, Schubert, Lizst, and his own

Featuring classic trio works for violin, cello and piano, performed by up-and-coming musicians from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music including: Edward Cho (cello), Ariana Cappon (violin), and Guilherme Monegatto (cello), joined by Andreas Ioannides (piano).
